I'm going to be sofa and chair hunting as soon as our new floor is laid in the lounge. I know I want leather, but I'm not sure what colour yet. I hadn't considered IKEA, mainly because every time I've been there the place has been packed and queues for the tills miles long... I hate queueing!
It went very quick at our IKEA. The only reason most of my furniture is from there is because of the price. I can't afford anything more expensive at the moment. ;-) So we're living in an IKEA-appartment: all the stuff we bought for ourselves comes from there. My sister bought a new couch for her house and deliberately didn't go for IKEA, because a lot of their stuff looks a bit worn out very quickly.
It is true that when you go on a Saturday the place is packed with people testing couches, children wanting this or that bedroom, other children being hungry. *sigh* Why does one bother to have kids, hey?
