A glass cabinet and chalk pens are an easy way to clarify your system to primary school children.

The educational photo-post wants to be an inspiration for teachers and non-teachers. It appears every teaching day of the Flemish school year.

It's here!

Apple announced its iPad 3. I've been drooling over those gorgeous tablets since the first ones came out. Now I'll finally risk it. The iPod touch is getting old and can't run the latest iOS. It needs replacing. This year I've gotten rid of my paper agenda in favour of taking the iPod everywhere. I'd love to take something bigger with me: a paper agenda that also holds the occasional book to read on the tram, can take pictures and record voices. I'm sold.

Map Envelope lets you type a location in google maps and creates a customised print-and-fold envelope with message just for you. It's looking very neat and nifty (follow the link for images), but I miss the possibility to put the map and address tag on the outside of the envelope. How cool that would be: guiding the postman to the recipient of your letter by drawing a map on the envelope.

When I started teaching I wondered if I weren't pretending to be grown-up, because it felt like being a kid in primary school all over. Guess what: grown-ups are only trying to be their best.

With Chore Wars.

From their mission statement:
Chore Wars lets you claim experience points for household chores. By getting a few people in your house or workplace to sign up, you can assign experience point rewards to individual chores, and see how quickly each of you levels up.
It is fun and games in the household.

Via Boing Boing.

P.S.: For some reason unknown to me, the gif I stole from the Bunny Corp page, doesn't do that infinite-loop-thing most animated gifs do. So if you see the bunny's grave and nothing happens, go directly to the animation at Bunny Corp.
