Dead silent we sit on the rocks, an odeur of suncream surrounding us, gazing at the sea. A finger points: "Là-bas, là-bas! Regarde!" Thirty pairs of eyes watch when the white beluga draws in another breath.

The belugas are great aren't they? And they are very nosey. When I was in Tadoussac we saw a whole group and they came around and under our boat to watch us. It was funny, the watchers becoming the watchee!

We didn't take a boat, but watched them from the shore and still they were very impressive!

I also saw a whale (don't know what kind) spouting water in the air. Very impressive...
