The joys of contemporary technology: A desk outside

I'm sitting outside, typing away at P.'s powerbook. Thanks to our lovely wireless network I'm able to use the internet. But that's not all! I'm actually working at files that are located on my own eMac, that's standing just a few metres away from where I'm sitting now, but can't be placed outside. (Well it can, but I'll need extra extension cords – imagine putting your desktop computer on the balcony!)
I've just been hanging around today, not willing to do much, because the weather's so good outside. How can I sit inside and work at the computer in this weather? I don't want to end up with a pasty white face when it's been sunny outside for the entire weekend! So P. provided the solution and the wireless network did the rest.

That's something I loved when I was in Colorado: the wireless network. I could sit outside and enjoy the day while I researched stuff for my writing.

Yes. But now it's too hot. I'll have to wait till the sun's away from the balcony!
