A four-dimensional dog...
May. 29th, 2005 12:49 pmJust to let you know how much I like writing application letters: I prefer marking exams.
When I was writing their grades in my big book I realised a couple of my students forgot to hand in a homework. They're rather honest when I confront them: "Sorry ma'am. I forgot." If only they'd say they accidentally divided by zero and that their paper went up in flames. It is so much more plausible.

This should be today's motto for me.

I feel inadequate at both tasks. Marking is slightly easier, because I've had some more practice.
