It's her style to barge in on anyone. On top of that I have the feeling she doesn't consider my subject to be a real subject. So I have one pupil missing all my classes because she's seeing a therapist at that moment. There are rules forbidding this, but since I wasn't at school in September I couldn't object...
Complaining about it to the secretary, I learned she'll be leaving the school. It's what happens when you want everyone to do exactly as you'd like. Colleagues stop complying. (She's got a coordinating job, providing extra help for kids with difficulties, btw. Not being a regular teacher, she had the illusion she could make things turn her way and her way only. (Gosh, hear me complain.))

Ooh, I see! We've got one exactly like that, to, only in her case our boss protects her no matter what because her work as a therapist is a) very valuable and b) good for publicity purposes.

The hours a school gets for coordinating work and therapist jobs depend on the pupils. Lots of pupils with difficult backgrounds (no Dutch at home, fugitives...) gives a school extra hours. I believe her hours will be cut next year and she probably decided to quit because of that.
