franceslievens | Lord of the freezing image

Two weeks ago I bought myself a Lord of the Rings dvd box set. Yesterday I finally came round to watch Return of the King. We were raging at Lord Denethor for being such a wuss when suddenly mid-sentence he freezes. I know what that means, because I've encoutered it before with dvd's I got from the library: a damaged disk. I was furious and even more so when I put the disk in my computer this morning and nothing was wrong with it. I'm still going to return it tomorrow morning though. It should work in every dvd-player. Stupid thing is I get myself all worked up and nervous, because I have to return the dvd's. I'll have to explain things in French!! I'm such a kid.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? Might it be another problem and not necessarily a damaged disk? There were scratches on it... At least I hope the store won't be fussy about replacing my dvd's.
