Stop to think.

Lately I find myself staring into oblivion in the middle of whatever house chore I'd been doing. Thoughts whirl through my head and they demand immediate attention. I must explore them, leaving the ironing, cooking, cleaning for the time being. There are ideas for lesson plans, posts on LJ I'd love to write, that European teacher blog sister_luck talked to me about. I believe that if I just think long enough about them, I'll remember. But I never do, and like every daydream these thoughts disappear, and my house chores multiply in my absence.

I take the time deciding which chore to tackle first (Marking? or Cleaning the Bathroom?) while hanging around on the internet doing nothing much. Bathroom it is! (Before checking the cinema listings, because we've got a rare childfree couple of days...)
