Well, that's it. I'll be back at work in the morning. I've got my bag packed, my lessons prepared for the week, my lunch sits in the fridge. I haven't hung out the clothes I'd like to wear, but it's in my head (I'll wear the gorgeous skirt by Conni Kaminski I bought in the sales on Thursday &ndash it was still very expensive, but also very beautiful). It's strange to think I've been at home for 7 months. My last day of work was June 10. Tomorrow it'll be January 9. 2011 has been split in two for me: one part was all about work and being pregnant, while the second part has been about mothering and being at home and finding quiet as a family of four. Guess what: we'll probably find the quiet again when I'll be back full time on the job. Or not. Not working past 10pm hasn't happened yet. I still need to pick a book to read before bed. January isn't over yet. I can still alter my ways.

Good luck and may you find balance as a working mother of two - whether you're working past 10pm or not.
