franceslievensI've got a kid that can talk. It would be strange if she couldn't talk. She is three years old after all. But she's a shy kid. She talks a lot and sings all the time when she's on familiar ground: at home, at school with friends. When other grown ups or the teacher come into view, she shuts up. Little Bit doesn't do something without being completely sure she masters it. And saying difficult things is something she doesn't quite master just yet. She usually gets by with showing, pointing and half sentences and we get what she wants.
Now her communication skills have gone to the next level. If she doesn't know the right words or wants to communicate some abstract feeling, she starts talking gibberish. Nonsense words that sound like they could be Dutch replace what should be said. It's like the Swedish chef. She's completely serious sounding out concepts that we don't understand. She is so ahead of us.
