Balcony garden

Some pictures I took from the little garden of potted plants on my front balcony – the tomatoes have reddened since, there are peppers on the pepper plant, and the basil has thinned out after the last batch of pesto I made:

Oh, tomatoes!

They have turned red and I'm green with envy. We just don't get enough sun in the yard for tomatoes and such.

And I didn't even have to do mch for those tomatoes. My Mama brought a big plant with the tomatoes already on it. I did sow and plant the herbs myself. The lettuce didn't work out that well, but I'll retry again next year.
