How Not to Get It Done*
Dec. 13th, 2004 10:33 pm"Holy effing crap!" The neat little pile of exam papers that needs reading and grading seems to get bigger every minute I don't spend on them. I was going to start with it last Thursday, but I had to get used to being home again. Friday then, but for some, that day probably pretty obvious, reason there was much more fun to be had reading on the internet. The weekend then, but I spent it cleaning and doing the laundry. Today? I did some work and started thinking on a blog entry as a follow up for an entry over at jill/txt. (I need to explore the trackback function.) So now it's Monday evening. I'm still working on pile number one: the essays of my sixth formers. But it's the hardest part of the pile, because they wrote an essay and didn't simply have to answer questions!
No wonder this entry on Planned Obsolescence had me in tears with laughter.
