The whole thing has become so absurd, that hardly anyone has the courage to form an opinion. Even Ingrid Robeyns on Crooked Timber doesn't do much more than pointing you to various other things going on on the internet.
We needed a real revolution in Tunisia and Egypt for our journalists to not fall asleep on the job in search for yet another metaphor that describes something that's not moving. When watching those newscasts on foreign situations I did keep wondering how come that what's happening abroad is always much clearer than one's own mess.
