It is! I've been working for ages on it, but it's finally finished, and it's so soft and warm in this ghastly weather! (I'm turning all housewife -- without the cooking and cleaning.)
I'm still recovering from the trauma where I had to knit a sock in class when I was 10. There were tears and ugly orange wool. Your scarf looks great though! I also really liked the hat you made for the kid. Great colour combo.
We had to crochet in first and second grade and knit from third grade on. It was an all girls school. ;-) We didn't have to knit docks though. Those would traumatise me too. My Mama knits my woolen Winter socks.
I enjoy the craft projects very much. A way to get it done for me us crocheting while watching the news or some fluff on the telly that doesn't need to get my complete attention.

(I'm still on my first project started way back before the little one was born.)
