Facebook censors website critical of it.

Jill Walker Rettberg stumbled over it and I can confirm Facebook doesn't feel like changing their policy on that one.

For your conveniency: check Openbook where you can search public status messages on Facebook. Just type "hate my boss" in the search window and be shocked by all the sensitive information you can view.

I have my facebook options locked down as tight as possible.

So have I. The biggest point of critique of the website is that lots of people think they have everything locked down, but really it's not, and Facebook has the not so fun habit of suddenly making things public by default where they were previously private.

I have such a love/hate-relationship with Facebook. It feeds my paranoia, but also my curiosity.
