Not everything is packed yet. And the idea that in less than 24 hours we'll be in Oxford and everything will be unpacked again, isn't making me want to grab stuff and put it in bags. Hopefully the internet will be up and running in no time. You wouldn't even notice I've relocated – apart from the not-so-daily photographs being taken somewhere else. With P. working Little Bit and I will have some big stretches of time to kill. Anyone who wishes to join us can contact me on here or via franceslievens at gmail.com.

How long are you over here? We'll have to try and meet up again - in quieter surrounds!xxx

Till the end of June, so we have plenty time to meet up more than just once.

Have a good trip!
(I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that this time there won't be any major disruptions. Are you taking the car this time? I suppose you're not flying this time...)

Safe and sound

We arrived in the late afternoon. Went by car this time, because of all the stuff we had to relocate: clothes for every kind of weather circumstance, bicycles, LB's stroller and back-pack-thingy for walks...
We never flew, though. P. always took the train to London and then the bus.

Oh, I thought P. took the plane when the Eurostar was delayed by snow and cold weather.

(You've been caught up in so many of the recent travel woes, it's like the travel gods have got it in for you.)

Oh, yes yes. P. took the plane then, but it was never the default means of travelling. When you do a lot of back and forth travelling, you end up being caught in every kind of problem that's happening. But this time it only meant longer lines of cars to get on the trains. The M25 was very kind to us: no traffic jams! Probably because no-one had to get to Gatwick or Heathrow. ;-)
