The man leaving the shop – Alimentation Générale – has a pipe dangling from his mouth, in what might be a salute to Sherlock Holmes as we know him from television. His long bangs are curled outward. When he crosses the street, he walks with pride, head held high. The blue workman's coveralls clash in this picture. I dare to stop and turn to take a better look, but still can't place him, the unstereotypable person.
Two
The upright base is a wonderful instrument. I'm convinced it'll suck all the gazes of the audience right to it, even though the choir will sing as loud as possible to drone out its low rumbling sounds.
Three
She's carrying a snake in that plastic bag!
Ach no, the lady's only walking around with a plastic handbag resembling something that might be snake-skin.
Four
The ladies say she looks spiffy. And Little Bit does indeed look spiffy in her pink and red striped dress and red flowery leggings. It wears off quickly. By the end of the day her leggings are filthy from crawling and sitting on the floor. Her dress is all awkward when she toddles my way when I pick her up. She must have had great fun. Her smiley face says it all.
