Pink-Be-Gone
Jan. 4th, 2010 10:14 pmSisters Emma and Abi Moore were fed up with finding only pink and sparkly clothes and toys for girls. Even gender neutral toys (like globes) get a pink make-over these days. And to top it off the manufacturers state that it is scientifically proven that girls like pink – with the result that girls don't have any choice whatsoever.
This led the sisters to start a campaign called PinkStinks. They urge toy manufacturers to work on gender neutral products and to give children and parents the possibility of a choice that reaches further than pink and blue, for boys and for girls.
