one photo a day

sister_luck gave me the idea when I mentioned I got myself a new camera for Christmas. For the first time ever I give myself a task for the New Year: I will post one photo every day. So far I've been good: you've gotten two photos and I've got ideas for other pictures to take. I'm still working with my pseudonymous rule of not portraying recognisable faces or places (unless well-known landmarks). The various pictures won't get any explanation, apart from the subject-line.
The posts are conveniently tagged "one photo a day". You can also gloss over them in their own web album. If you want, you can grab a picture over there. They are released under a Creative Commons licence.

This post immediately followed one on my flist by a friend who did Project 365 in 2009, basically the same thing. I like the idea and it was fun browsing the photos (although she only managed 335 of them)! Looking forward to seeing your results.

I do realise the idea wasn't really novel. ;-)

But I like my new camera and it's fun to try it out. I hope I can go for the full 365. Maybe I'll cheat now and then.
