How many channels does one need before there will be something worthwhile to watch on the telly every single moment of the day? When I was young you could sing "53 channels and nothing on". Now I've installed the digital tv-experience (don't ask me about the installation, please). I must have at least a hundred channels, and guess what: nothing on. I still end up watching public broadcasting networks, and have discovered a new-found love for Dutch television, when my Mama pointed out a show she regularly watches.
