Autumn

Driving to Hometown I noticed Autumn will be upon us sooner than I thought. Trees were already colouring a rusty brown. The leaves of the beeches are slowly fading to yellow. Now it's only weeks before the oak of American descent wears his fiery red.
The curtains get closed a little earlier every day. The mornings are colder and greyer, because the sun hasn't come out yet. Soon we'll face a long Winter.

It's been grey and rainy here, too. I hope it's dry for a bit tomorrow so that we can go out, maybe even to the park where the leaves are changing colour.

Luckily the rains have only been some small showers every now and then. Mostly it's been grey and already cold in the mornings. I'm always scared Little Bit is cold in her stroller.
