So I bought P. a birthday present this morning. Actually I bought him something I quite like and might be a bit too girlish to buy your boyfriend of 8 and a half years, but really it was pretty. Pretty as in totally falling in love with something and buying it without really thinking about it. An afterthought tells me I actually bought this for myself. But I didn't. I just wouldn't mind him paying for it and giving it to me as a birthday present, as my birthday is conveniently one week after his. I have the feeling I've done this kind of thing once already.
