As long as it's for good use. She puts up some other great links on the subject, which was sparked by Cory Doctorow's latest novel Little Brother.
Her post has sparked an idea for a lesson plan in my head, because infringing a child's privacy is indeed in violation of the UN Convention on the Right of the Child. These rights and awareness of them are a constant throughout my classes.
