Blackwell's Coffee
Jul. 19th, 2009 08:13 pmThe lady turns when she feels eyes burn into her back, but the only face she sees is the little babe sternly scrutinising her. Little Bit sits on the bench, taking the whole coffee-place in. At seven months old she isn't yet restrained by common courtesy, and she isn't yet reprimanded for it. She gets wide smiles and nice compliments. Some years from now I'll probably tell her it isn't polite to stare.
