franceslievens | Week in review

I have been neglecting LJ a bit, simply because I didn't want to rant about irrelevant stuff. Been having a lot of work lately. Teaching, coming home to prepare classes, teaching again, meetings after. You know the drill. I've been walking around with little stories in my head, though. I want to write some things again, but nothing really comes out. OR: I actually don't find the time to work on it. Been reading again. Finally started in Neuromancer and am liking it. It's fun to get out of school, get on the tram and start reading. I'm immediately in this other world where there are no students harrassing and annoying me. Feels good. I've also seen the first two episode of Carnivàle. Great stuff. Finaly something else than British drama on my television. (Don't want to offend the Brits, but when British drama is the only thing you get, you're glad with an American production from time to time.) I really should write a review about it. I've never written reviews for television, so it's a challenge. Looking for the wording, the images. We'll see. I say so much and do so little these days.
