Obligatory life-sustaining message
Jun. 28th, 2009 12:07 amLast week of school is one of many things to do. My radio play is going well. I'm almost finished, but put many man hours into it. There's another one waiting for assembly, and CD's are to be written etc. etc. Much fun was had. I hope the kids will like it on Monday and Tuesday.
My Summer holiday starts on the 1st of July. It'll involve lots of packing and cleaning and laundrying. We'll be leaving for Oxford on the tenth. Anyone in the area who wants to meet up: please do contact me and we'll arrange something. We travel by car, so I can actually drive somewhere if that would be convenient.
The family is well, apart from that horrible cold doing the rounds. Currently I'm listening to the thunder before going to bed. Working late on the computer, has made me very awake.
And I had my hair cut today. It's short and breezy, and "très mignon" (according to the elderly lady at my hairdreser's).

Date: 2009-06-28 12:16 pm (UTC)Here, the school holidays begin on Thursday - I think this is the first year that they're so close to yours!
Good luck with the preparations for the big trip - I suppose you have lots of lists of stuff to do, things to pack and so on.
I'm sending healing vibes for the colds.
Our thunder storms happened in the afternoon yesterday - I guess it took them a while to make it over to Brussels.

Date: 2009-06-29 08:02 am (UTC)Hey, you're speaking to the true slacker here! The list of things I should get organized is getting longer and longer and this includes the making of further lists (oh and most of those lists are only in my head, too). I might read up on stuff, but I don't get it done.
Boo to P. for leaving you for five days like that.
