One of my colleagues told me she liked reading my status updates on Facebook. Maybe Twitter is the route to take?

With Twitter at least you could ship them over to livejournal easily and we would get to read them, too.

I quite like Twitter and must confess that I've been following a couple of people without signing up myself. Which is something that doesn't work for Facebook...

I think I might get a facebook account to keep in touch with German people, but I don't think they're on it.

I haven't checked out Twitter. I found it very counterintuitive when you're working on a desktop computer, but since I only use Facebook's status line and nothing else, I thought I'd like it more. (I'm fed up with all the people I'm friends with on there who play silly games and clutter Facebook with the results of these games. And I hate them sending all this crap to me.)
But as I'm doing a lot of internet surfing on my iPod Touch these days I prefer writing short messages.

I checked whether I was able to put my Facebook status on LJ, but the apps that do that don't work too well it seems. The other way around is possible, but my Facebook public shouldn't know about my LJ life.

Shame that there isn't a good application for Facebook status to LJ..
