I quite like Twitter and must confess that I've been following a couple of people without signing up myself. Which is something that doesn't work for Facebook...
I think I might get a facebook account to keep in touch with German people, but I don't think they're on it.

I checked whether I was able to put my Facebook status on LJ, but the apps that do that don't work too well it seems. The other way around is possible, but my Facebook public shouldn't know about my LJ life.
