Snow

Oh, there's snow! And the roads are all blocked with a couple of centimetres of frozen white stuff! And now it takes us two hours to get to work!

That sort of sums up the new bulletin of this morning. Derek in Vancouver has a bit more reasons to complain – I guess several metres.

I like snow, I'm glad we've had snow for the past few weeks although I'm glad we have considerably less snow than Vancouver.

Btw, you showed up in my dream last night! For some reason you lived in this huge flat in Lucerne with about 20 other people. And we had chicken for lunch, lots of it. I don't pretend to understand my subconsciousness!

I like snow, if I can look at it from my window, or am properly dressed when I go outside.
We hardly get any snow over here, so I usually end up with cold feet in the snow, because I don't own proper footwear for the weather.

You have a weird subconscious! (But I must admit several online friends have shown up in my dreams, and it were friends I'd never seen the face of!)

I can't match Gabs, but we haven't had a good snowfall yet this year (mostly ice), so I am hoping we can get some of the west coast's snow over here.

We haven't had any decent snow or frost for years. Because it's also freezing during the day people suddenly go skate-crazy and try out the ice on ponds (and sometimes fall in).
