Sadness

Earlier this week I thought in a flash I should call my grandmother. Quickly I realised I don't have a grandmother any more to call or share my love for Little Bit with. So I cried a bit, like I did when Mama reminded me that Little Bit was born exactly a month after Gran's passing.
There have been more tears than usual in the last week or so. Some call it baby-blues. I call it general sadness in reaction to the overwhelming task of being a mother. When alone with Little Bit I have felt my self slipping away, scared as I was to do something wrong. But she's two weeks old now, and we learn to know each other. In between 'feeding times' I find my way back to the computer screen, and tomorrow she'll have to endure me practising my singing.

It's hard hon. *hugs more* I was meant to go see Oma today...it took so much to remember I wasn't going. I've had a good cry over it.

I'd love to see some more pics of Little Bit. She's adorable. I promise you pics of circusfreak once he or she is a bit bigger.
