franceslievensApart from the commenting I do on other's LJ I haven't kept my readership much up to date, I realise. Little Bit was due yesterday, and officially she is now one day late. Being a good kicker and all, I'm not too worried about it. The only thing that really bothers me is the fact that at this stage every extra day, is one day too much. My belly keeps getting bigger and getting in the way, and frankly I'm just way tired.
I had a tiny scare on Thursday, because my blood pressure was much too high again, and my midwife (still fearing pre-eclampsia) sent me to delivery to be monitored (again), and possibly have the birth induced. That was a big "Oh shit" going off in my head. My blood pressure didn't go down as well as the first time round, but Little Bit was still doing great, so the gynaecologist let me go again, with the added bonus of having me return tomorrow instead of next Thursday. So at 8:30 she'll check again whether to induce the birth or just let me go home and let nature decide. Considering the way I'm feeling right now, I guess she'll send me home again to come back later this week – unless Little Bit decides tonight's it and Eid al-Adha is a good day to be born.
