Day without work
Nov. 11th, 2008 09:37 pmTomorrow will be the first real day I don't have to go into work. Since today is a holiday and the school had an extra day off on Monday, those were only mock days of maternity leave. Tomorrow I can really do the whole "Lalala, I don't have to go into work, but you must!" with my colleagues.
But of course I have been summoned: MK needs a place to stay, because she has a break until Thursday. And how much I adore and love my eldest niece, she can be a terrible pain in the arse, like every know-it-all of four years old. I don't know whether I'm up to the constant attention seeking. Especially with the non-sleeping of late I'd rather have she'd find her own games instead of me having to think up everything for her.
Ach, we'll make waffles. At least now I've got an excuse to make them...
