I believe red is never the colour to choose when designing web-pages, so I am put off by LJ's current themed header. It's one of their scarier attempts at a Halloween banner – scary as in "My eyes! My eyes! Take it away!"

What are you talking about? Also someone on my f-list mentioned a new name for LJ, but I don't see any change.

If you go to the homepage (where you log in), the top banner is themed, and LiveJournal now is named UndeadLiveJournal.

They do this every year btw. ;-)
There's also a Christmas theme in December.

Ahhhhh...I couldn't see it because I don't have to log in these days, my computer is still automatically connected to LJ.

I log in every day + you can see it on every page that has the regular LJ layout...
