Dear miss with the terrible bags under your eyes sitting opposite me on the metro this afternoon,

Eye shadow is usually worn on the moving eyelid, which is conveniently located above your eye. Making a blue line under your eye only pulls all attention towards your bags and makes your eyes seem more droopy than they are. Make-up is used to hide behind on an off day, not to make you look even more miserable than you obviously are.
