After lunch at today's family gathering Big Sis, BiL, P., MK and I go for a walk. We do the long route, which leaves MK knackered. "I'm tired," she says when we return to my Gran's house. "Why don't you go and have a lie down on the bed then?" my sister asks. She accepts to sleep for a bit in the other room, while the grown-ups continue their conversations.
Five minutes later we get interrupted by a child's voice: "I can't sleep if you all keep talking like that! You make too much noise!"
