I seem to have summery toilet paper. I opened a new pack, and instead of finding the dependable flowery relief print, the Powers That Be that have a say about toilet paper have chosen for a more Summery Theme. The toilet roles are covered in smiling suns, ice-cream cones, deck chairs, and air-beds. I find this rather disturbing.

As we usually opt for a cheapo version, we get neither flowers nor a summery theme (which is indeed disturbing), but in a stroke of genius our Powers That Be have branded their tp Happy End. [In English, of course!]

We buy Lisa, which is the cheapo version of nicer toilet paper.
This is probably tmi, but my butt enjoys my choice of tp.

Our tp is nice and soft, too, but comes without the relief print. It doesn't have as many layers as the printed stuff, but being a folder (http://sister-luck.livejournal.com/20685.html), that's not a problem. I still shudder at the thought of the first recycled tp that used to be sold, it was so coarse!

Lisa is one of the supermarket's home brands. They also have Lisa paper towels and tissues.

Being a folder too, I use less of this paper, then when I'd buy the cheaper stuff.

Hehe! I have mixed feelings about the Andrex Puppy toilet roll. On one hand, it's "awwwww, puppies!" and quite a cute novelty. On the other, it seems a bit mean using loo roll with cute little puppies on it .... :o/
