After Rain
Jul. 10th, 2008 11:26 pmSitting by the window, reading my book, grey skies darken the colours of our living room. It's been gloomy and overcast for days now. It doesn't feel much like Summer.
But when I look up from my book to let my gaze rest upon the tall buildings in the distance, we get treated with an exceptional sight: The last rays of the sun while it's going down, have been able to pierce through the grey blanket of clouds, making the offices shine like it were mirrors, and creating a beautiful rainbow growing out from the trees. There is beauty hidden in the rain.
