I braved rain and thunder today to go to the sales. I bought heaps of stuff – none of them were discounted. Buying clothes equals buying stuff I'll probably only wear for a short time or things I won't be able to wear until my belly is a bit fuller. This doesn't mean I didn't cheat and tried on maternity dresses in H&M. You can wear those dresses without having a big belly, but I guess pregnant women are usually not as thin as me. Both dresses I tried on were too large at the shoulders, not the waist. I'll just go on wearing my clothes which indeed still fit me, and will fit me for a couple more weeks I guess.
I did buy a pair of Birkenstocks (yes, they're gold), a duvet cover, four books with an included cd (all children's books – I'm pretending they're for school, not for me), body butter and foot scrub at the Body Shop, a bread and some kind of crustacea for this evening's dinner. All that was actually way too much to carry...

It sounds like you had a successful trip! Now you've made me want to go to the Body Shop, I haven't been there for such a long time. I love their little tubs of lip... stuff. It's not gloss, exactly, nor chapstick, but it's excellent.

I call it lip balm. It's the best for dry lips.

Trip was successful and tiring.
