Strange observations
Aug. 27th, 2004 11:54 amMr. Mark Simonson points out that the world of The Royal Tenenbaums is completely set in the Futura font. I've never noticed the use of type in a film, unless we get chapter headings like the ones used in Kill Bill, but on the other hand I'm not a designer. What's interesting in this film by Wes Andersen, is that something so little as a type, usually only used to depict the period your story plays in, becomes much more significant.
