Back to school + a story

franceslievensThe first of September school starts again over here. If everything goes as planned, that will include me, as a teacher this time and no longer a student. An entry over on Crooked Timber gave me a little hope for my career choice. Teaching is such an ungrateful job sometimes, but if I can fire up an interesting discussion with a single question, I'll know I'm doing it right.
There's also that other career choice: writing (if only I would take myself seriously). It does interfere greatly with my love of reading though (or is it the other way around and does the reading interfere with the writing). Over at onepotmeal there's a nice little story to read: Carriage return (or "Damn, the battery in my laptop has run down...").
