Sally's Song revisited
Dec. 16th, 2007 05:28 pmAs always I find it rather strange that people compliment me on my singing when all I did was sing this exceptionaly easy tune from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I'd prefer them complimenting the choir on a job well done. It was a good little concert yesterday. It's a pity none of you showed up. ;-)

Date: 2007-12-17 07:02 pm (UTC)That song is not exceptionally easy! Maybe someone who has been taking singing lessons feels it's not really that much of a challenge, but most people would absolutely murder it. Even if they hit the right notes, that wouldn't necessarily mean that it'd sound good - that song needs a certain feeling and yearning.
Congrats to the choir nonetheless! And to you, of course.
