Sally's Song revisited

As always I find it rather strange that people compliment me on my singing when all I did was sing this exceptionaly easy tune from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I'd prefer them complimenting the choir on a job well done. It was a good little concert yesterday. It's a pity none of you showed up. ;-)

That song is not exceptionally easy! Maybe someone who has been taking singing lessons feels it's not really that much of a challenge, but most people would absolutely murder it. Even if they hit the right notes, that wouldn't necessarily mean that it'd sound good - that song needs a certain feeling and yearning.

Congrats to the choir nonetheless! And to you, of course.

Thank you so much. It means a lot that you say these things. I never thought of singing as something special. It was something we did at home and it was fun, but hearing you talk like that, it suddenly makes me feel special. *g*
