Favourite Place

How quickly one gets adjusted to a new home. Maybe it's because the furniture is what you're used to, with the cushions still having those dents they used to have. Maybe that's why the little fauteuil by the window has become my favourite spot in the new apartment. There's enough light throughout the day to read, eat, drink coffee, or just dream while gazing at Brussels in the distance.

The floor is the same as in our old apartment (it must have been in vogue in the late sixties/early seventies), but has been completely redone. How I love the previous owners. ;-)
