We've got keys and the bedroom-to-be is almost completely repainted in a colour that is not-beige.

The wall that will end up behind the bed is a dark brown/purple-like colour called "Tempting". The other three walls are painted "Gallery White". It's a bit grey and sometimes blue-ish in daylight. We still have got to do the second layer of Gallery White, but ran out of paint. P. will get another bucket tomorrow and finish the job by himself while I try to score some cardboard boxes at school.

How exciting! Is there much decorating to do or is it just the bedroom that needed repainting?

The previous owners redid most of the place: new kitchen, new wooden floors in the bedrooms, renewed electric wiring... Everything is painted even, but in a horrible beige, that's sometimes green, depending on the light. We want to repaint everything, but we'll probably do that once we're living in the apartment. Doing the bedroom before we're moving in was a must, because we really want to be able to close the door on whatever mess that might come up next week and just sleep. :-)

And there's a fireplace in the living room that must go and quickly or I'll get used to it!
