Crazy Headteacher while touching my hair: Ooh, so many nice curls.
Me: I usualy have curls.
CH: I always just want to touch them.

My thoughts? Some kids like to touch my hair too.

How inappropriate. I totally misread your post first and thought it was a hairdresser who had said it and even that would be slightly odd. That woman has got boundary issues.

My father - who has his hair cut very short (but with a beard so he doesn't look like a skinhead) - had that happen a couple of times, too and yes, it wasn't always kids who can get away with it - just.

She usualy is a nice lady, but tact isn't one of her strong points. She has commented on my hair before, but that was when I suddenly appeared at school with it falling down my shoulders.

Now it's shorter and never tied up and she goes touchy-feely on me. Ugh.

Kids can't always get away with it. I do reprimand them for it when they out of the blue start touching me or my hair.

I do admit I go touchy-feely on the kids hair sometimes. They don't always like me for it. Which makes turn it in a game of trying to touch them and they ducking away. *g*
