P. just had a blank stare and asked what it meant. I had to explain the complete episode to him before he got the reference.
Anyways: the Bear's a puzzle, so it's come undone. I tweaked it a bit -- added black borders to the pieces and eyes where they're supposed to be -- and tomorrow I'm going to laminate the pieces at school. Then I'm going to stick little magnets to the back of the pieces and voilĂ : every time we've completed a story in my big Bear-book the kids can put up a piece of the puzzle. Mind you, this isn't my idea, neither have I drawn the bear-outlines. The choice of pictures and the magnety pieces are all my own inspiration though!
(Can you guess I'm proud of my work. It's things like this that make teaching primary school fun.)
