Somewhere in the shadow of Sears Tower I finished that book, the book that's omnipresent around Chicago. I didn't count them, but maybe one in every three readers are engrossed in it. Though everyone prefers the green version over here. I with my "Harry, Ron and Hermione at Gringotts"-cover stand out, though I consider myself reading the real thing and not some lesser rewording.
To what I thought of it: I loved it for what it is, a children's/teen's book, and I don't feel so inclined to use the words I have encountered on other people's blogs, being cop-out and sap.

The version I've got (bought in Lisbon at the airport) has got a dark dustjacket, nearly black not green, with the locket on it.
I'd have preferred the one you've got, because it would go with my other editions.

I agree with what you wrote. I got out of it exactly what I wanted.

For me the book was perfect. I didn't need any redemption for Draco or wanting to know where the others ended up. It has always been all about Harry and in extension Ron and Hermione. And I never picked the books apart, so I didn't encounter mistakes or so.

I think you got the adult cover. They didn't sell that one in Belgium, apart from the heaps that were waiting for the persons that commanded them.
