Driven like a sheep I purchased Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on Saturday. It's still sitting in its little green bag from Sterling Books. When I can't see it, I can resist temptation to start reading before the set date of July 25. This book should be my in flight literature. I'm quite good at resisting, because I know when I open the book I won't be able to put it down. There's too much that needs to be done around the house to actualy have time on my hands to read for a couple of hours straight. What's much more tempting though are the reviews, the ideas and other commentary floating around. I debated reading a piece in my newspaper today (the very first actual review). My eyes flipped over three lines. Now I wish I hadn't read those. Is it Wednesday yet?

Happy Birthday!

And You're Welcome. :-)

(I wasn't sure whether it would arrive on time, but I guess two working days is the time needed for a letter to Paris.)

That's a great way to spend your flight, it makes it very enjoyable.

I know what you mean, when I'm browing my flist and haven't seen a certain Lost episode yet, for instance, it's difficult for me not to click on reactions and review posts. And of course it's even more difficult when information is all around RL as well. Did the three lines really say so much?

Nah, not really. It talked about Harry making grave decisions and paying a price when needs ask for it. (He has been growing up, so that's something to expect. OotP is my favourite, but I prefer Harry in HBP. ALLCAPS-HARRY is not to enjoy on a regular basis.) Oh and there was also something about a double ending. In the end I still haven't got a clue. Last time I knew Dumbledore was going to die, which was without having stumbled upon spoilers also very obvious from the start of book 6. If you were betting your money on someone the moment Dumbledore came into view it would be him.

I quite agree, caps are used too often in OotP to be agreeable. I'm really anxious to see the film all of a sudden, now that I've read the last book I find myself needing a HP fix.

I haven't seen one of the films. They don't appeal to me in the least. When I started reading the books their were already films though, so Harry, Ron And Hermione look the way they look in the film in my mind's eye. The magic etc. is much more old school though. The trailers I've seen from OotP are way more impressive than what I made of it! *g*

All-Caps-Harry is a teenager after all. Teenagers do tend to speak in ALL CAPS when they're agitated or think they have been treated WRONG! Ah, the simple life of being a teenager.
