Three

I'm not one for remembering dates. P. and I don't share an anniversary and it's my computer that reminds me of upcoming birthdays*. I try to keep up with things, but lots of times I am late. Like today, when I realised it's been three years already. It was a fatal day that April 18th 2004. The start of an addiction and long friendships. I wasn't the only one to embrace the fun that is blogging. Later, that same year was proclaimed the year of the blog. It should be, when even I found the way to self-promotion on the net.

Three years is a nice moment to get out the numbers: 821 entries, 63 memories, a tiny circle of good friends and readers. Thanks for embracing me and reading and commenting whenever you feel like it. Right now I think it's that time when you have no choice, but to comment. Here are the questions, please answer:
  1. Since I can't remember everything, let's go down memory lane: What entry did you like to read?
  2. Is there something you would like to read from [profile] frances_lievens  and haven't read yet? Or alternatively is there something you would like to read more of**?
Thanks for replying!

*If you think you're not on that list, feel free to add your date of birth in the comments.
**I for one like to read more of that aborted Christmas story I started this year. Someone up for writing the next installment? ;-)

Just looking through those memoried entries right now... I always enjoy your picture posts. I think you have a good eye for composition and they're always interesting. Sometimes people's (other people's, I mean) pictures aren't always as interesting because there's inevitably an element of 'you had to be there' - you won't always feel the same thing looking at a photo as that person felt when they took it, and it has memories for them that it doesn't for you. But just looking at yours again - I really do like them.

Thanks for that. Whenever I do picture-posts, I always choose the best ones. I don't think anyone is interested in every photograph I took (and it takes ages to load when you post so many pictures)!

I'm just like you with dates.

I like your little everyday stories - loved the last one about the colleagues - and your link collections and pictures and so on.

I love writing those everyday stories. I should think more about them and write them down more...

Well, you know my real first name, so you can guess what the sweety pointed at. :-)

There a short bit you wrote about a woman at home and construction workers that still lurking about in the back of my mind, I liked that one.

I was just browsing your memories and saw some A/S fic... now seeing more of that would be great!

Ah, an old one, but a good one. I think I wrote the shortie you're hinting at last year. *checks memories* This must be the one. (http://frances-lievens.livejournal.com/133735.html) I don't know why it appeals to people that much. I wasn't very convinced when I wrote it at the time. But there was this scaffolding outside the window and I hated it!

A/S-fic? That only comes on demand... ;-)
