Les Deux Caps
Apr. 21st, 2007 11:17 pmDuring my much needed Easter break I took some pictures, solely for your amusement and mine. This is the first part, where P. and I went to the region of Les Deux Caps just South of Calais. For you English folk out there: that's where that tunnel comes out of the sea and most of the ferries land. I did wave to the other side, but no-one responded.
On arrival, I thought the weather couldn't be any worse...

The next day we had sunny skies all around!
That sun made for some beautiful colours on a house in Wimereux.

And great lighting for the chapel.

Even Les Bourgeois de Calais by Rodin didn't look so tormented in front of their own town hall.
(I saw that monument for the first time in Paris, but one version of it resides where it should...)
