Behind the cut you can find some pictures of the mundane life here in my apartment in Brussels. I didn't have much requests for pictures, so there isn't much to look at, but you can still ask if you want to see more.

My desk as it was a couple of minutes ago:

My wardrobe (which actualy isn't a wardrobe...)

More clothes in the walk-in closet:

Favourite mugs I got as a present:

& reversed:

And the view from my bedroom window:

Then you must have missed it! The original post can be found here (http://frances-lievens.livejournal.com/203433.html). You can leave a comment here or there if you want me to take a picture of something.

I'll take a picture in my classroom on Monday. I don't think there's anyone online that would recognise it!

I did it, too! Hence the post about Walther von der Vogelweide - here (http://sister-luck.livejournal.com/55338.html) are my pics and the original post (http://sister-luck.livejournal.com/54913.html) and Kashy is doing it, too.

The little guy with the lantern and the cat on the mug is really cute.

Your desk looks full, but not really messy. I'm glad that no one wanted to see mine.

The guy and girl on the mug are Jip and Janneke. They feature in short stories for children by Annie M.G. Schmidt, a world famous Dutch author of children's books and poems. The drawings are by Fiep Westendorp.

I can't find anything in English about her, but here's a link anyway: http://www.annie-mg.com/ (I noticed when you go the part about Fiep Westendorp, you can actualy read the site in English as well.)

From Sheffield. I got it for my 19th or 20th birthday... I'm not quite sure. I was staying in Sheffield at the time with a friend of mine that studied there. It's fugly, but I'm quite attached to it.
