Anticipation

The mail man just came and brought birthday cards and a present! They're a day early. As will be my tiny party, because it's nice out today and we don't know what tomorrow will bring. We're going for a birthday pick nick in the park. Now should I open my present then or do I wait a day?

Hide everything that's not fastened and can fit into a child's mouth!

As of today Little Bit won't stay put. She can sit up on her own since the first week we were in Oxford. I would put her down somewhere and she'd stay there or fall over. Today she discovered that when she puts one leg behind her and does this elaborate stretch she can move around about as easy as she can on her stomach. So I put her down and find her two bum-spaces to the left tugging happily at the computer cord. There are fun times ahead of us.
